Nike WHQ: Eagle

Situated at Nike's World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, the Workplace team embarked on a comprehensive renovation of the Eagle building in January 2020. Despite encountering numerous challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, the team adapted the program for Eagle by proposing a new workplace model that emphasized open collaboration spaces over traditional workstations. As the program evolved, the Workplace Creative team pushed the boundaries of branding, introducing standout features such as a twenty-foot Swoosh intricately cut into the sheetrock to reveal the underlying studs, a striking double-height mural by Cody Hudson gracing the central staircase, a floating neon element, and a captivating tile mosaic adorning the coffee bar area. What initially served as a partially obsolete storage facility has now been transformed into one of Nike's most progressive buildings within the Beaverton campus.
